Who are we?

Rudge Wood Horticulture CIC was founded by joint directors, Darren Rudge and Helen Wood in 2020. Both have worked in horticulture for over 30 years; teaching, training and creating gardens.

Darren and Helen taught together at The Cedars Horticulture Centre in Wolverhampton, before its closure by Wolverhampton College in 2013. Since then, they have continued to teach and train many hundreds of horticulturalists in Birmingham and across the Black Country. In 2016 they help to set up an RHS approved qualification and teaching centre at Winterbourne Centre for Horticulture in Edgbaston, Birmingham, where they continue to deliver high quality education in horticulture.
